ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As a mechanical analysis engineer for Undersea Mission Systems, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the design and analysis of critical undersea hardware. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:
- Experience with ANSYS and MATLAB analysis tools, and ability to train others on these tools
- Experience with Shock Grade B by analysis
- Strong knowledge of material specifications and metallurgy, especially as they relate to submarine requirements
- Knowledge of weld types (MIL-STD-22) and processes (TP-1688 and 278)

Basic Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time.
