Advanced Manufacturing Technician: - Job Description This position works in a team environment and uses technical expertise and abilities to contribute to the development and manufacturing of power tool accessory products. Specific duties include: Duties and Responsibilities: Perform software modifications to existing manufacturing machinery and process system PLCs HMIs and Data Collection systems. Understand and troubleshoot PLC, human machine interface (HMI), and Data collection system software. Able to work with diverse groups on projects. Providing automation support for plant innovations, performance enhancement, loss elimination and process improvements. Assist with capital project management and execution as needed. Understand AC and DC motors, variable frequency drives(VFDs), inverters, servos motors; sensing devices such as proximity sensors, photo eyes, motion detect, mass flow, temperature and conductivity sensors and transmitters.
