Position: Adult ESL Teacher- Morning Department: Bristol Adult Education Center and Bristol Prep Academy Reports To: Director- Bristol Adult Education Center GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The adult education ESL teacher is responsible for performing the related responsibilities necessary to help adult students develop the academic knowledge, life skill competencies, and attitudes that will contribute to their development as mature, productive and responsible adults and facilitate their ability to participate in the educational development of their children. Qualified applicants must hold a valid teaching certificate and be eligible for or willing to get an 088. QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field, and certified or certifiable in CT English to Non-English Speaking Adults (088) or TESOL certification (111).
