Matheny Medical and Educational Center has a career opportunity for a Full Time Adult Instructor in our Adult Services located in Peapack, NJ.

This position operates: 4 days 8am-4pm, 1 day 12pm-8pm, 1 weekend per month

Duties of this position include:

• Addresses the needs of the patient population in an age appropriate manner.
• Identifies the needs of patients through on-going assessments, instructional methods, and monitoring programs.
• Provides instructional programs which meet the individual needs of patients.
• Completes program documentation in accordance with divisional requirements; maintains patient files containing current information related to the patients program.
• Responsible for case management of assigned patients; Reviews all documentation generated by team members; Facilitates progress meetings and creates reports.
• Consults with other members of the interdisciplinary team to assemble information consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient; Ensures appropriate instruction is integrated into the patients overall programs.
• Provides additional training in areas outside of specialty instruction.

The minimum salary for this position is $49,725 annually.

Bachelors Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university required.

Minimum of one year of experience working with persons with developmentally disabilities preferred.

Valid New Jersey Drivers License.
