Posting Details Posting Detail Information Student Requisition Number 2026004STP Job Title Admissions Student Ambassador Number of Positions Available 4 Funded by Federal Workstudy only No Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities - Conduct Campus Tours - Meet and greet prospective students, families, alumni, and special guests - Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with other offices on campus - Represent the university at on and off-campus events as needed - Provide routine and general clerical assistance in the office - Support campus programs and events, including: daily campus visits, Maroon & White Day, Exploration Days, Day On Campus tours, Orientation and other recruitment activities - REQUIRED - Conduct one Saturday tour per semester - REQUIRED - Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications - Enthusiasm to positively represent Fairmont State University; - Knowledge of Fairmont State University Programs and Services; - Able to work with diverse groups; - Demonstrate organizational and time management skills; - Excellent communication skills in one-on-one and group setting; - Must be dependable, outgoing, and enthusiastic; - Possess the ability to listen, problem solve, and react quickly; - Commit to a set work schedule at the start of each semester; - Available and willing to work evening or weekend hours to support recruitment activities Notes to Applicant Federal Workstudy students are eligible and welcome to apply for this position.
