Job DescriptionLarkin University is a private, non-profit educational institution currently comprised of the College of Biomedical Sciences, the College of Pharmacy and the School of Physician Assistant Program. Larkin University was created to support the education and health care needs of South Florida's diverse communities. The Office of Student Affairs and Admissions is responsible for the recruitment, admission, and enrollment of students into the health professions programs at LU, as well as providing student and academic support services. This position will serve as the Admissions and Recruitment Advisor for the University and is responsible for recruitment activities, advising of applicants, coordination of interview days, communication with interested students and pre-health advisors, marketing the programs locally and regionally, evaluating and assigning applicant files, assisting with the management of the WebAdMIT application portals, assisting with the departmental social media sites, and managing departmental events. The incumbent will be expected to work some evening and weekend hours for events that occur outside of the normal workday and will be expected to travel for recruitment events.
