Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Admissions Director to join our skilled nursing facility, where our mission is to provide exceptional care to our residents. The Admissions Director will play a pivotal role in establishing a welcoming environment for prospective residents and their families, guiding them through the admissions process with compassion and expertise. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations and policies, as well as the ability to assess the needs and preferences of potential residents.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the admissions process for new residents, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote the facility\'s services and attract potential residents.
  • Conduct assessments of prospective residents to determine their eligibility and care needs in collaboration with clinical staff.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, physicians, and community health organizations.
  • Lead a team of admissions coordinators, providing training, support, and performance management as required.
  • Ensure a smooth and welcoming admission experience for residents and their families, addressing any concerns or questions promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to admissions, ensuring data integrity and reporting as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience as Admissions Director in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations governing skilled nursing facilities.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and community outreach strategies.
