Job Description :

The Admissions Associate at Pacifica Christian High School plays a critical role in advancing the school's mission by supporting the admissions team in both operational and relational capacities. This dual-role position ensures the admissions office runs efficiently while also serving as a compelling representative of the school to prospective families, students, and community partners. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, relationally driven, and passionate about Christian education. Key Responsibilities Admissions Operations (50%)
  • Schedule and coordinate tours, interviews, and student shadow days
  • Organize and execute admissions events such as Open Houses, Preview Days, and Accepted Student Receptions
  • Collect and manage application materials, maintain accurate records, and communicate with families about application status
  • Operate and maintain Finalsite (or similar enrollment management systems) for data entry, tracking, and reporting
  • Generate weekly application and inquiry reports for internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the Director of Admissions to improve operational workflows and ensure timely follow-up with prospective families
  • Work with the marketing team to create admissions content. Knowledge of Canva and/or Adobe Illustrator is preferred.
Family Engagement & Outreach (50%)
  • Meet with prospective students and families, providing a welcoming and informative introduction to Pacifica
  • Represent the school at admissions fairs, middle school visits, and community events
  • Build meaningful relationships with applicant families through consistent, authentic communication
  • Help lead campus tours and facilitate engaging student shadow experiences
  • Serve as a knowledgeable ambassador of the Pacifica mission, curriculum, culture, and distinctives
  • Work alongside faculty and students to create a warm and compelling experience for all visitors

Qualifications Operational Strengths:
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
  • Proficient with admissions or CRM platforms (experience with Finalsite a plus)
  • Strong written communication skills and database management ability (Microsoft Excel)
  • Proficiency in Canva for designing presentations, flyers, and email newsletter content to enhance our marketing efforts - preferred.
