Admissions and Academic Services Advisor - Syracuse University : Job Details

The Admissions and Academic Services Advisor recruits and provides admissions, academic, career advising and other student services to College of Professional Studies populations (prospective, new transfer, HEOP, noncredit, special, undergraduate, full-time undergraduate & Veterans) from recruiting to admissions to certification to graduation. Assists students with navigation across the University. This position is part of a bargaining unit and is represented by the union SEIU, Local 200 United. Education and Experience Bachelors degree and/or equivalent combination of experience and education. Masters degree preferred. Skills and Knowledge Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to work with a diverse population of students. Ability to problem-solve and liaise with the broader University community on behalf of students, in-depth knowledge of the University rules and regulations.
