Admission Rep - Temporary to Full time option - Southernwindshospital : Job Details

Job descriptionSWH is looking for an admission rep to be the first point of contact for hospital patients and will be responsible for guiding them through the admission process. You'll record the patient's health status, payment information, and attending physician and answer hospital-related questions. Additionally, you'll learn hospital service information to help patients better and contribute to the facility's smooth daily operations.

Job Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.

Specific Preparation:

• Experience in hospital admission or customer relations, on-the-job training, or equivalent training in the admitting process.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Proficiency in using a computer for data processing.
• Minimum 1-year experience in a hospital setting.
