Location Our campus is located at 1601 Maple Street, Carrollton, GA 30118. Job Summary This position supports Auxiliary Services, which includes Print Services, Mail Services, Parking, Transportation, UWG Outdoors, and Dining Services. Duties include the following: student hiring and processing, administrative support, purchasing, customer support, and coordination with internal and external partners. This position requires a credit check due to P-Card. Responsibilities 1.- This position screens applicants and schedules all interviews for student assistant postings. This position performs interviews and makes hiring decisions based on the needs of the managers in each area. This position coordinates with the new employee, manager, HR, and payroll to ensure all required hiring processes are completed in a timely manner. 2.- Serves as back up to the Wolves Card Office for ID creation, meal plan sign ups, reservation questions, and general campus inquiries. 3.- Creating/maintaining Smart Sheets and forms for tracking dining operations, cooler temps, employee absences, etc. Also, is responsible for updating Dining POS system with pricing changes and menu items. Updating the MOP for all dining locations annually, and as needed. 4.- Managing calendars, coordinating meetings and reservations for Auxiliary Services. Required Qualifications Required Education High School Diploma or GED Required Experience 4-6 years required administrative experience along with advanced knowledge of software programs, such as, word processing, spreadsheets, MIS, POS, or other programs specific to the job in order to complete the job duties successfully. Preferred Qualifications Preferred Education Bachelors Degree Preferred Experience Bachelor¿s degree in Business Administration, or related field. Two years in directly related experience in administrative support activities. Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply principles, policies and procedures, including recommendations of policy and procedure improvements. Strong problem-solving skills. Advanced application of computer spreadsheet, word processing, and databased software including spreadsheet and database development. Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, high attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines. Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills, time management skills, and organizational skills. Direct customer service experience. Excellent knowledge of functional area(s) related to the job or to an applicable professional field of work. Able to consistently apply applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and program objectives when carrying out the duties of the job. Providing guidance to other staff, and/or review/audit work for accuracy. Microsoft Suite experience is preferred. Proposed Salary $19.61 - $25.61 Hourly. Paid on a Bi-Weekly Basis. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of software programs, such as, word processing, spreadsheets, MIS, POS, or other programs specific to the job in order to complete the job duties successfully. Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload and adjust to meet business needs Abilities: The Auxiliary Services Administrative Support Senior position is tasked with making various strategic and operational decisions that have significant implications for the efficiency, effectiveness, and financial health of these areas. Poor decisions can negatively impact, operational efficiency and performance, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, financial health, customer service, and overall organizational success and reputation.
