This is an advanced-level position where individuals, with general supervision, assist in the planning, organizing and supervising of administrative service management functions of a department of county government. This particular position is an integral piece of a small team supporting the Health and Human Services Agency in preparing and managing documents for Board presentation and approval, and all Agency contracts throughout the contract lifecycle. Well qualified applicants will possess the following skill set:
- High level of experience in the use of the MS Office Suite, but particularly MS Word including use of track changes and complex document formatting, and basic Excel and Outlook skills.
- Experience working with complex documents in Adobe Acrobat and the editing of PDFs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a strong command of English grammar.
- Comfortable working with Counsel and Department Heads.
- Highly organized with excellent customer service and attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm for solving problems and doing research. Comfortable with technology and an interest in improving systems and procedures.
