Job Opportunity

The state of Louisiana is seeking a dedicated individual for a confidential executive assistant role within the Orleans Levee District and the East Jefferson Levee District Police Departments. This position supports the mission of both the Orleans Levee District and the East Jefferson Levee District Police departments, serving as the confidential executive assistant to the Appointing Authority (Police Superintendent). The incumbent performs a variety of highly responsible and complex administrative and supervisory duties that are delegated by the Appointing Authority to relieve their administrative burden.

Minimum qualifications include three years of experience in administrative services, six years of full-time work experience in any field, or a bachelor's degree. Experience substitution is available for college credits.

Job duties include administrative tasks, strategic planning, compliance management, and other duties as assigned. During emergency events, incumbents may be required to report for and remain on duty for the duration of the event or until released by the appropriate authority.
