TEMPORARY 3 years (subject to funding and with a possible extension)
Grade: Administrative Officer (AO)
The Administrative Officer will provide cross-cutting support to Loughs Agencys delivery of two major cross-border environmental projects funded through the PEACEPLUS Programme. Working across the MOSAIC (Multi-disciplinary Ocean Sensing for Adaptive International Conservation) and CALM (Catchment Actions for Local Management) projects, the AO will deliver efficient administrative, organisational and compliance support, contributing to the effective operation and success of both initiatives. The CALM and MOSAIC Projects are supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
Applicants must demonstrate that they possess the following criteria, by the closing date for applications. Each essential criteria will be applied.
5 GCSE passes (grades A*-C) including English and Maths; OR
NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration; OR
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in an administrative role, including:
- Use of IT (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Customer service (in-person and telephone)
- Correspondence handling and record-keeping
Some or all of the following criteria MAY be used in the event of a large number of suitably qualified applications.
5 years relevant administrative experience in an administrative role, including:
Use of IT (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
Customer service (in-person and telephone)
Correspondence handling and record-keeping
Experience working with EU-funded or externally funded projects (e.g., INTERREG, PEACEPLUS, HORIZON, etc.)
Understanding of public procurement and financial tracking systems.
Experience working in multi-agency, cross-border or environmental project teams.
