Administrative Director of Patient Throughput - Stony Brook University : Job Details

At Stony Brook Medicine, the Administrative Director of Patient Throughput will oversee daily operations of the Centralized Throughput Office, a 24/7 centralized bed management and flow hub. This includes, but is not limited to, bed coordination assignment, daily planning for predicted admissions, management of beds during surges in patient volume, the patient callback center, and coordination of daily discharge huddles. This includes overseeing staff, developing budgets, creating policies and procedures related to patient flow, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and required submissions. The Administrative Director of Patient Throughput will drive process improvement projects in collaboration with multiple departments to drive efficiency and communication.
