Administrative Assistant – Education Industry (Contract)

Location: 90059

Contract Duration: Through the end of 2025

Pay Rate: $26–$27/hour

About the Role:

LHH is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant with experience in the education sector to join our client's team on a contract basis through the end of the year. This role supports day-to-day operations and provides administrative support to leadership and staff in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support including scheduling, calendar management, and meeting coordination.
  • Assist with document preparation, data entry, and record keeping.
  • Support internal communications and liaise with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain filing systems and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Help coordinate events, workshops, and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in the education industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with education systems, academic calendars, and student services.
  • Experience working in a school, college, university, or educational nonprofit setting.
