Administrative Assistant – Education Industry (Contract)

Pay Rate: $26–$27/hour
About the Role:
LHH is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant with experience in the education sector to join our client's team on a contract basis through the end of the year. This role supports day-to-day operations and provides administrative support to leadership and staff in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support including scheduling, calendar management, and meeting coordination.
- Assist with document preparation, data entry, and record keeping.
- Support internal communications and liaise with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Maintain filing systems and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Help coordinate events, workshops, and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in the education industry.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with education systems, academic calendars, and student services.
- Experience working in a school, college, university, or educational nonprofit setting.
