At Faegre Drinker, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise within and across teams and contribute to our success.Job Description Summary:Faegre Drinker has an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to work in our Washington, D.C. office. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing support to our Federal Policy Advocacy Consultants (FPAC) in the Government Regulatory Affairs practice group. This position will work with other talented individuals who share a passion for doing great work in the best interest of our clients.Job Description:What you would do:
  • Interfacing with consultants and clients by scheduling internal and external meetings for a small team of assigned FPAC consultants
  • Handling logistics for client meetings held in the office and at offsite locations
  • Coordinate logistics for client hill fly in meetings such as preparing Power Points, documents for the clients, conference room scheduling, AV coordination, meal planning, etc.
  • Assist with travel reservations and submission of expenses for reimbursement
  • Assist with client management administrative tasks such as drafting and copyediting proposals for new business, contracts, and invoices
  • In partnership with client managers and accounting teams, assist in managing client billing, including reviewing monthly reports and using internal matter management systems
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned

  • Interest in federal policy and advocacy not required, but welcome

The typical hiring range for this position is $29.37 - $33.20 per hour with a scheduled 37.5-hour work week.Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, and responsibilities. The range listed is just one component of Faegre Drinker's total compensation and benefits package for employees which includes life, health, accident and disability insurance and a 401(k) plan.What is required:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 - 6 years' administrative assistant or project management experience
  • Experience scheduling on Capitol Hill or Executive Assistant to Agency Head at HHS or Government Affairs office preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, AI
