A global manufacturing seeking an organized Office Assistant to be responsible for light human resources functions, office administrative work, and coordination of events. This is a perfect opportunity for someone to grow in administrative and human resources functions with a thriving company.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage company email inbox.
- Prepare marketing materials for trade shows and sales team.
- Serve as a liaison for IT orders equipment, facilitates repairs, etc.
- Manage cellular accounts for employees, including managing cellphone inventory.
- Coordinate annual event conference, including scheduling and being present during the event.
- Arrange and coordinate onsite company meetings.
- Coordinate lunch or catering for onsite meetings and activities as requested.
- Plan and manage off-site meals or events, including maintaining budget.
- Serve as a point of contact for building management company.
- Receive packages & incoming mail and coordinate outgoing mail & packages.
- Coordinate equipment service and repair.
- Maintain and order office & kitchen supplies.
- Serve as a point of contact for HR needs for Houston employees.
- Onboard and offboard employees.
- Organize new hire orientation.
- Schedule interviews with leaders and prospective employees.
- Organize external and internal training if needed.
- Maintain calendars for vacation and medical leave.
- Send HR communications to Houston Team.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Administrative or Office experience
- Must be proficient with MS Excel (pivot tables and formulas), MS Teams, and Outlook
- Must have experience planning and managing events - company-wide and for external clients
- Ability to work independently
- Must be proactive and excellent work ethic
- Must maintain confidentiality
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong organizational skills
