Job Description :

We are currently looking for a Full Time Administrative Aide to join our Area of Child Development team located at the Child Development Center - Tishomingo working 8:30AM-5:30PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr. Summary: Responsibilities: * Maintains records/files to verify all needed documentation is received * Records daily attendance of all children enrolled * Assists with child development center applications and waiting list * Files all required paperwork (e.g. biting logs and incident reports) * Maintains and processes department personnel records, keeping accurate and up-to-date employee information * Assists with monitoring immunization records * Distributes supplies, resources and maintains inventory * Assists with required CACFP documentation for submission * Completes purchase card reports for approval * Provides coverage/assist with the front reception desk as needed * Ensures enrollment packets are accessible, and copies are kept on site * Assists in classroom as needed * Routes, logs, prepares and/or distributes incoming and outgoing mail * Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types - Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner - Greets and engages with a smile - Determines needs, seeks positive experience and outcomes * Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities * Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types - Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment - Maintains and promotes professionalism - Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics - Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards * Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc. * Performs all other duties as assigned Competencies: Essential: * Able to follow instructions, both written and oral * Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements * Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability * Able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of Chickasaw Nation, departmental, divisional and all other rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines * Knowledge in early childhood and childcare programs (e.g. NAECY, Oklahoma Resource and Referral, Oklahoma Child Care) * Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management Skills: Essential: * Developing and basic proficiency skills in Excel * Must be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite of products Experience: Essential: * No prior experience required Education: Essential: * High School, GED or Equivalent Essential: * Required to obtain 20 hours of childcare training Credentials: Essential: * Pass general background check * Standard Driver's License * Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) * First Aid Certification Working Conditions: Essential: * Works in an office setting * Frequently lift and or carry up to 50 lbs * Pass pre-employment drug test
