REPORTS TO: Food and Beverage Director
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE: One (1) to three (3) years Executive Secretary experience preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) required. Graphic design and/or IT related knowledge and familiarity with horse racing preferred. Has experience in working with systems for requisitions, transfers, costing and reports.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: This position provides administrative support for the Food and
Beverage departments. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in opening and closing responsibilities of F&B outlets and Admin work area.
Adheres to established Food and Beverage policies and procedures.
Coordinate and track time and attendance for all divisional employees.
Generate disciplinary action as violations of time and attendance occur.
Track from origination through approvals and issuance of discipline.
Responsible for tracking and submitting weekly payroll for the departments.
Communicate with vendors to obtain product information and set up service calls.
General office responsibilities including but not limited to: filing, copying, typing, and mailing for all departments.
Coordinates and disseminates communication and correspondence to department heads.
Prepares necessary forms for new hires, changes and other disciplinary actions.
Coordinates and tracks through to completion the employee review process.
Maintains confidentiality of all records.
Promotes outstanding customer service.
Other duties as assigned.
