Private lessons - Planning and teaching 45-minute, one-on-one private lessons for students in Grades 6-12 - Sequencing and differentiating instruction to ensure consistent progress and growth for each student - Setting and maintaining clear expectations for students regarding weekly practice and progress - Assigning appropriate weekly material consisting of sequenced technical exercises/etudes as well as repertoire - Communicating frequently with parents and the Lman Conservatory Coordinator - Submitting bi-weekly lesson logs to the Lman Conservatory Coordinator - Preparing students for the annual Lman Conservatory Recital each June - Preparing students for auditions or competitions (e.g. NYSSMA, college auditions, etc.) - Communicating in a professional and proactive manner - Maintaining positive interpersonal skills - Demonstrating independence and reliability Required Preferred Required Preferred.
