Job Description :

The Department of Music at Pittsburg State University is accepting applications for a pool of part-time temporary Adjunct Lecturers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Teach one or more undergraduate courses in the program areas identified.

    • Qualifications:

  • Appropriate masters degree required.
  • Substantial professional experience as a performer.
  • Experience in university-level teaching preferred.
  • Ability to relate well with students and faculty in a regional institution within an environment of shared governance.
  • Ability to relate to the general public and area music teachers.

    • Job Type: Unclassified, Adjunct Faculty, four-month appointment.

    Appointment Duration: Semester.

    Work Schedule: Part Time.
