Overview:
Adjunct is responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, grading and assessment, and professional responsibilities as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department.
Responsibilities:
- Teach a minimum of one undergraduate level course
- Prepare course materials such as syllabi homework assignments and handouts
- Be prompt and accurate in the recording and reporting of student data
- Support students learning goals by:
- Focusing on student learning outcomes
- Taking into account the needs and abilities of the students
- Becoming familiar with academic and social support
- Making reasonable provisions to accommodate individual differences
- Maintaining the academic integrity of the University
- Being available to assist student in achieving their learning goals
Qualifications:
Doctoral degree preferred (or an equivalent of highest attainable degree) Previous collegiate teaching experience
Maximum Salary:USD $3,250.00/SemMinimum Salary:USD $2,750.00/Sem
