Adjunct Instructor of Flute - The College of Wooster : Job Details

Description Job Area: Woodwind Job Title: Adjunct Instructor of Flute Rank: Adjunct Instructor The College of Wooster seeks applications for a part time position for a flute instructor beginning August, 2024. Primary duties include teaching weekly flute lessons to both majors and non-majors, as well as coaching ensemble(s) as needed. There are opportunities on campus for recitals and other public performances. Every other Fall semester (the next being Fall 2025), there is also the possibility of teaching the Flute portion of our Woodwind Methods sequence for Music Education majors. Qualifications Qualifications: Master's degree or equivalent professional teaching experience strongly preferred. Candidate must demonstrate evidence of successful teaching and the ability to be a congenial colleague. Preferred qualifications: Demonstrated success in recruiting and retaining students is highly desired.
