Utah Valley University's Department of Music invites passionate and qualified applicants to join our dynamic and student-centered faculty as an Adjunct Instructor of Aural Skills. This position offers the opportunity to teach across the Aural Skills sequence (I-IV), guiding students in developing essential musicianship through active listening, sight-singing, dictation, and rhythmic fluency. The successful candidate will bring a commitment to effective teaching, student success, and musical excellence. As a valued member of our department, the instructor will contribute to a vibrant and collaborative academic environment. In addition to teaching, responsibilities include preparing course materials, assessing student progress, participating in departmental events such as juries or auditions, and attending required meetings. Additional teaching assignments may be available depending on departmental needs and the candidate's expertise.
