Adjunct Field Educator/Field Liaison, Office of Educator Preparation - University at Buffalo : Job Details

The Graduate School of Education at The University at Buffalo, State University of New York (SUNY) is seeking individuals with experience and knowledge of teaching practices and school communities and the ability to make connections between the university teacher education curriculum and the skills and practice knowledge gained in resident field placements. The incumbent will work collaboratively with the Office of Educator Preparation to ensure quality residency experiences that enable students to meet required competencies and adhere to accreditation standards. Duties and Responsibilities (Field Educator): Provide on & off-site support to UB teacher residents during residency placement year. Provide regular feedback to teacher residents student to improve teaching skills & techniques. Provide ongoing informal and formal evaluation of resident progress. Submit three formal Student Teacher Assessment Record evaluations of resident performance.
