Adjunct Faculty - PRSA-NCC : Job Details

The Advanced Academic Programs (AAP) division seeks non-tenure track adjunct faculty to teach in the Digital Communication, Public and Media Relations, Corporate and Non-profit, Health Communication, and Political Communication concentrations. For a full list of program courses please visit our catalogue: The instructor will teach online or on campus at the Washington, DC campus, located at 1717 Massachusetts Avenue. Of particular interest are candidates who have experience teaching and engaging students from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: A successful candidate would ideally be able to begin teaching in August 2022.

* A Masters degree in Communication or in a relevant field, such as Journalism and Media Studies

* Professional and/or scholarly experience in Communication

* One year of college-level teaching experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* A Ph.D. or terminal degree in Communication or in a relevant field, such as Journalism and Media Studies

* The background to teach a wide variety of courses in Communication

* The ability to teach both on campus and online courses
