Adjunct, Dental Assisting - Stark State College : Job Details

This adjunct instructor position will provide instruction to students in dental assisting program. The DA program requires adjunct faculty to be able to verbally communicate and demonstrate all aspects of dental assisting competencies. This involves all aspects of clinical duties for the DA Duties include:Provide instruction in dental assisting program courses. Attend faculty training/calibration sessions. Assist in course revision/program development activities. Manage Stark State faculty email account and advise students as necessary. Manage supply inventory. Provide constructive feedback to students on completing assignments and/or competencies. Evaluate student performance using evaluation rubrics Part-time Dental Assisting/ EFDA/ RDH Minimum Qualifications:EFDA certification with three years of EFDA work experience. Dental assisting certification (DANB, RDA, or CODA) with five years of dental assisting experience.
