Adenza Axiom Senior Staff Engineer

The Axiom Senior Staff Engineer will work independently to analyze and implement changes to our Axiom Regulatory Reporting system based on business and project specifications. Responsibilities include data analysis, development, and adapting reports on AXIOM Controller View v10. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience deploying multiple Regulatory solutions using Adenza software, including developing and deploying integrations with vendors, technicians, clients, business owners, developers, testers, and management. Proficiency in Oracle and PL/SQL programming, along with strong design and analysis skills, is required to ensure comprehensive and intuitive deliverables. Hands-on experience with US Regulatory Reports, Axiom objects (Data sources, Data models, Shorthand's, portfolios, Aggregations, Freeform/Tabular Reports), and workflow is essential. The role also involves end-to-end testing, report validation, designing and implementing solutions with Axiom scripting language, managing permissions, and optimizing existing code within a BAU setting. The candidate will work within Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable business solutions, maintaining high standards following SDLC.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design & Methodology: Collaborate with business units, application teams, infrastructure, and vendors to review and evaluate solution requirements; propose virtualization, consolidation, and rationalization solutions; suggest technical design changes; evaluate solutions across platforms; participate in capacity planning and technology investments.
  • Technical Consulting: Provide client consulting and planning guidance for complex projects; collaborate with infrastructure departments on initiatives; advise project teams on architecture, design, and integration opportunities.
  • Planning & Organizing: Map requirements into standard service solutions; identify opportunities for technology reuse; perform cost, feasibility, and risk analyses for solutions.
  • Risk Management: Develop and update architectural standards and strategies; review and approve complex design solutions for business and infrastructure projects.
  • Administration: Keep management informed through reports; participate in departmental committees.
