Essential Functions / Responsibilities
  • Develop standard business case models and comparative views to clearly demonstrate the full wing-to-wing value of additive manufacturing and its impact on typically non-accounted benefits.
  • Leverage product design and manufacturing transfer experience to help launch new additive production lines.
  • Create detailed execution plans to guide additive engineering teams through R&D development of specific applications to fully industrialized processes.
  • Collaborate with sourcing and legal teams to assess the financial health of potential new additive suppliers for long-term sustainability and supply chain security.
  • Serve as a key project coordinator, involving all necessary functions to drive execution.
  • Work closely with Asset Management, Additive Manufacturing, and Sourcing teams to develop strategic processes for utilizing additive-made tooling, reducing annual capital spend on supplier tooling.
  • Qualifications / Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
    • At least five (5) years of experience in supply chain, product engineering, or related areas.
    • Experience with additive technologies, including DMLM (Stainless Steel, Tungsten, Aluminum, Copper) and Binder-jet.
    • Proven ability to develop business case models and create detailed project execution plans.
    • Knowledge of document control, design transfer, verification, validation, acceptance activities, DMR, DHR, and electronic signatures.
    • Understanding of quality assurance processes for medical devices and applicable regulations.
    • Approximately 15% domestic and international travel required for design transfer and production launch activities.
    Additional Eligibility Qualifications

    Legal authorization to work in the United States is required. Employment is conditioned upon successful drug screening. U.S. employees may need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 depending on client mandates.
