Disney's Addressable Ad Operations team is seeking an Ad Operations Solutions Specialist to join our Advertising Operations team across our exciting brands, including The Walt Disney Company's global entertainment and news properties such as ABC, ESPN, Hulu, Disney Channels Worldwide, and National Geographic.
Job Summary:
The Ad Operations Solutions Specialist will report to the Manager of Ad Operations Solutions and collaborate closely with Account Managers and sales support teams. The role involves ensuring the accuracy of ad campaign implementations before launch, troubleshooting technical issues, and working with cross-functional teams to escalate and test new products. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, technologically savvy, innovative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Review campaign setup details in the order management system, including targeting instructions and assets, to ensure accuracy before launch.Use data-driven insights to identify development opportunities and training needs within the team.Track metrics to identify process inefficiencies and measure team success.Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure efficient campaign setup, management, and creative implementation.Serve as the first escalation point for technical support issues related to ad experience, platform bugs, reporting, delivery, and OTT interactive ads.Handle day-to-day ad server escalations, working with the Ad Platform team for resolution and providing real-time updates.Proactively monitor internal data and testing platforms for potential issues.Participate in meetings to share insights, best practices, and training on campaign processes.Communicate status updates on bugs and anomalies affecting revenue.Provide on-call support for after-hours emergencies as needed.Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- At least 2 years in digital media operations, with exposure to ad technology and implementation.
- Minimum 1 year of specific Ad Operations experience.
- Familiarity with third-party ad servers (e.g., DCM, Innovid).
- Basic debugging skills using tools like Charles & Fiddler.
- Experience with digital video formats like VAST and VPAID.
- Knowledge of video ad servers such as Freewheel or DoubleClick for Video.
- Experience with ticketing systems like JIRA or Operative.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot technical details.
- Proficiency in reporting and data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with internal teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred:
- Experience on OTT platforms.
- Programmatic advertising experience (DSP, SSP).
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
The salary range in New York, NY is $90,000 - $109,800 annually, with additional benefits and potential bonuses or incentives. Compensation will depend on experience, skills, and location.
