**About The Role:**The Insights and Decision Science (IDS) team is dedicated to enabling improved decision making at Novartis by leveraging superior data to identify actionable insights that drive enhanced performance. We collaborate closely with the US business, bringing insights and challenging ideas to empower smarter, data-driven decision-making. Reporting into the Dir, Enterprise Functional Excellence, this role is responsible for supporting the optimization of data collection and reporting workflows and creating modern, user-centric reporting interfaces that enhance decision-making and drive operational excellence and innovation within the organization.

**Summary:**Location: East Hanover.The AD, Enterprise Functional Excellence plays a pivotal role in supporting strategic initiatives and enhancing operational performance across the organization. By developing functional excellence reports and dashboards, the AD ensures that data-driven insights are seamlessly integrated into business strategies. This role will partner with stakeholders including Business Performance, NVS brand and functional teams, and all IDS teams.This position is based at East Hanover, NJ, and is not remote. It requires approximately 15% travel (domestic and/or international).

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Prepare functional excellence reports and analyses (e.g., Medical, NPS, Market Access, Field) relevant to IPST & MBR.
  • Support product vision, roadmaps, utilization, and maintenance of delivery systems for IDS HQ & Field reports, dashboards, etc.
  • Develop a clear narrative for functional business performance based on data and insights, considering current strategies and future evolution.
  • Collaborate with scrum, development, support teams, including international remote teams.
  • Work with brand teams, functional teams, IDS teams, and other partners.
  • Optimize data collection and reporting workflows with the Business Performance team, ensuring data integrity and relevance.
  • Leverage GenAI for creating modern performance reporting interfaces.
  • Proactively QC all reporting interfaces.

**What You'll Bring To The Role:**

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master's or MBA preferred.
  • At least 6 years of experience in functional excellence, data reporting, or analytics within healthcare/pharmaceuticals.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulatory and market dynamics.
  • Expertise in user-centric design principles.
  • Knowledge of US Pharma Patient Services, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Sales & Marketing.
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship skills.
  • Proven ability to improve reporting processes for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Experience working in matrixed, cross-functional teams on complex projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience maintaining high-quality, compliant reporting standards.

**Compensation & Benefits:** The salary range is $132,300 - $245,700/year, with potential bonuses and benefits. Final compensation depends on experience, location, and other factors. Details will be provided upon offer.
