What You'll Do - Perform Comprehensive Ultrasound Exams Conduct a range of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN, vascular, and musculoskeletal studies with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Operate and Adjust Ultrasound Equipment Utilize advanced imaging technology, ensuring each scan captures the clearest diagnostic images possible.
- Ensure Patient Comfort and Safety Position patients properly, provide clear instructions, and maintain a caring environment throughout every procedure.
- Collaborate with Medical Teams Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to analyze sonographic results and support timely clinical decisions.
- Document Procedures Accurately Record imaging data and patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system with precision and confidentiality.
- Follow Clinical and Regulatory Protocols Adhere to HIPAA, AIUM, and institutional safety standards to ensure the highest level of professional care.
- Maintain and Troubleshoot Equipment Perform routine checks and basic maintenance to keep ultrasound systems functioning at their best.
- Commit to Ongoing Professional Growth Participate in continuous learning to stay current with sonography innovations, techniques, and best practices.
Qualifications Education:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related healthcare field.
Certification & Licensure:
- Certification through ARDMS or ARRT(S) required.
- Missouri licensure (if applicable based on state regulations).
Experience & Skills:
- At least 1 year of clinical experience preferred; new grads are welcome to apply.
- Proficient in using modern ultrasound systems and related software.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and sonographic procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-first approach.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare setting.
