Actuary - Property and Casualty Claims - Sentry Insurance Group : Job Details

As a Claims Actuary, you can expect to:Independently lead the development of new Claims actuarial tools, leveraging Claims, Actuarial, and Analytics resources across the organization. Apply and recommend changes to actuarial and statistical methods and procedures. Identify trends and changes in Claims performance requiring further research or analysis. Summarize and analyze trend observations, analyze impact on profit and growth objectives and make recommendations when appropriate. Communicate results of analysis to leadership throughout the organization. Youll be responsible for both the effective communication of results and producing supporting documentation for executive management. What it Takes. Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience with an emphasis in mathematics or actuarial science. Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
