Actuarial Analyst - Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi : Job Details

Job Summary:

The Actuarial Analyst aids in the completion of various pricing, trending, reserving, forecasting, and ad hoc projects for the Actuarial department through researching data sources and gathering data; verifying data integrity; updating various actuarial models; and preparing financial, enrollment, and ad hoc reports.

Job-Specific Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other related field
• Minimum GPA of 3.25
• One SOA exam passed strongly preferred
• Above average verbal and written communication skills
• PC skills to include Microsoft Office Suite
• Working knowledge of databases, SAS, and/or SQL preferred
