We are seeking a dedicated Activity Director to plan, organize, develop, and oversee the overall operation of the Activity Department. The Activity Director will ensure that an engaging and ongoing program of activities is designed to meet residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines, as well as facility policies and procedures.

Activity Director Requirements:

  • Completion of a 36-hour Activity Director's course
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Activities Department within a Skilled Nursing Facility

As an Activity Director, you will:

  • Plan and facilitate engaging group activities.
  • Encourage resident participation and track attendance.
  • Maintain and organize activity supplies.
  • Assist with one-on-one activities and transport residents to and from events.
  • Coordinate outings, special events, and other recreational programs.
  • Collaborate with all departments to provide patient-centered treatment and care.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality regulations, and Federal Residents' Rights.
