Part TimeEvery other Sat/Sun 8:30am - 4:30pmSUMMARY:Leads, helps in planning, and executes the Life Enrichment Program with Activities Department under guidance of the Activity Director.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Works to develop recreational activities for residents. Provides activities to help with different physical, mental or psychosocial needs. Activities are to include social, emotional, spiritual, intellectual and physical wellness with a person-centered care focusHelps in planning monthly event calendar for Life Enrichment ProgramDrive van when needed on outingsResearches new activity trends and other facilities to promote the best life enrichment atmosphere for residentsLeads, assists and directs Life Enrichment ProgramsPerforms resident assessments as neededCompiles records of residents as requiredChaperon for group-sponsored trips and social functionsAnswers telephone and other clerical duties when neededTransport residents to doctor's appointments when neededSpeaks clear EnglishLift at least 25 poundsQUALIFICATIONS:Needs to be creative, have a passion for helping others and possess excellent communication and social skills.
