Essential Duties. As a part of the Sunrise team, supporting our Mission, Principles of Service and Core Values is a fundamental part of this job. Our foundational belief is the sacred value of human life. The unique responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the essential functions listed as follows:Activities Program. Maintain a balanced resident centered activity program for the whole Sunrise community according to the Programming Calendar guidelines and Live with Purpose/ Dimension of Wellness Standards. Assess, plan, and manage facilitation of a comprehensive activities program utilizing team members and volunteers. Recruit entertainers and schedule special events. Prepare and review the activity calendar and newsletter with the Executive Director (ED) prior to submitting for printing. Coordinate with other department coordinators to ensure that all equipment and supplies are available for routine activities and special events.
