• Requires 2 years of recent experience in social recreation, including 1 year full-time in a healthcare setting, with completed state-approved activity training; geriatrics experience preferred.
• Proficiency in arts/crafts/music is preferred; must make independent decisions and adhere to regulations and policies.
• Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating activity programs, supervising staff, charting patient progress, escorting patients, managing budgets, and ensuring safety and patient satisfaction.
• Must demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, teamwork, good judgment, and physical ability to perform duties; excellent communication skills required.

Essential functions also involve providing clinical oversight, maintaining patient rights, and supporting a positive environment focused on holistic care.
