Activities Aide II - Finger Lakes Health : Job Details

Seeking a part-time Activities Aide to join our team at Huntington Living Center in Waterloo, Ny! Must have past experience in a long-term care setting. This position requires you to be CNA certified within 6 months of hire - we offer paid CNA Trainee classes. DAY/ EVE SHIFT - Evening shift, 2-3 times per week from 3 p-8 p. Occasional holidays required. Rotational weekend shift required: SAT 7.5 HRS , SUN 5 HRS. The Activities Aide assists in providing organized activities that are appropriate to the needs and interests of each resident, encourages their voluntary choice of activities and participation, and promotes and maintains a sense of usefulness to self and others. Maintains activity attendance charting.
