Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the end-to-end product lifecycle for highly complex products, including market research, competitor analysis, pricing, strategy development, and innovation to modernize offerings and enhance customer experience.
- Ensure integration of product management with sales, marketing, operations, implementation, and customer service strategies.
- Execute Payment Network compliance programs aligned with rules from American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa, and Debit Networks.
- Lead a team managing merchant and acquirer compliance with Payment Network rules, acting as a subject matter expert.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Create plans for product development and deployment, including sales training and marketing materials.
- Manage product financials, including revenue, profit margins, and P&L activities.
- Provide insights on product trends to sales and marketing teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve or expand product offerings.
- Implement risk controls and monitor compliance.
- Build relationships with Payment and Debit Networks and serve as escalation point for compliance issues.
- Promote the importance of compliance organization-wide.
- Develop partnerships with stakeholders and clients to ensure compliance and high adoption.
- Monitor compliance performance and analyze rule changes for operational impact.
- Manage waiver processes and merchant registrations for services like DCC, High Risk Merchants, 3D Secure.
Managerial Responsibilities:
- Foster an inclusive environment and demonstrate process knowledge and operational excellence.
- Communicate organizational decisions and connect team efforts to broader objectives.
- Ensure risk management and controls are in place.
- Provide coaching and feedback to team members.
- Manage expenses and budget effectively.
- Assess talent and develop team capabilities.
- Prioritize and delegate work to achieve business outcomes.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Payments compliance management experience with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Debit Networks.
- 5+ years leading high-performing teams.
- Deep understanding of Payment and Debit Network rules.
- Strong communication, research, data analysis, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing and implementing compliance programs.
- Leadership in coaching and mentoring.
- Ability to influence outcomes and present to executives.
