You can be located anywhere in the Continental United States for this role.
As an ACES Controls Field Engineer, you will be a senior member of the Centralized Services ACES Team, responsible for:
Traveling to assist Trane commercial and independent sales offices with building automation system design, programming, checkout, and commissioning, including hardware and software validation.Applying sound engineering principles to projects.Collaborating with project teams to support Project Managers, Controls Project Specialists, and Field Technicians.Designing, testing, and validating products and systems, including legacy systems.Note: This role requires 75%+ travel, primarily within the US, with potential international travel.

Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, program, and commission complex building automation systems.
- Maintain installation and programming standards.
- Develop expertise in Trane controls and third-party devices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide remote support.
- Guide technicians, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with customers to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in HVAC controls, building automation, or related roles preferred.
- Proficiency in HVAC and automation systems required.
- Experience with Trane or similar control systems preferred.
- Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license with no major violations.
- Ability to travel 75%+.
This is a Safety Sensitive position.
Pay Range: $85,000 - $120,000 annually.
Note: Salary varies based on experience, location, and seniority.
