Accounts Receivable Specialist - GARDANT : Job Details

Job DetailsJob Location Kankakee, IL Salary Range $45000.00 - $50000.00 Salary/year DescriptionResponsibilities:

• Oversight of successfully securing Resident and Medicaid receivables including the billing of Medicaid/MCO claims for multiple Communities
• AR Specialist will coordinate with staff at our communities to complete and monitor all Medicaid paperwork after ABE applications are completed at site level
• Medicaid paperwork follow up on all pending cases
• Complete MEDI admits, readmits, discharges and income changes in a timely manner
• Research and review Medicaid aged balances from both HFS and MCOs
• Must work closely with AR Accounting Managers and community staff

QualificationsQualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with at least two years experience in the Medicaid billing field
• Demonstrates strong computer skills while using a current version of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Knowledge of report writing desirable, and use of desktop calculator, facsimile, scanning and photocopying equipment
• Experience with Yardi hosted property management software and other applications are a plus
