Senior Account Manager, Fashion & Administrative Division at 24 Seven Inc.

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented AR Specialist to join their Finance team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate billing, payment processing, and collections. This role requires a strong understanding of accounts receivable management, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date billing system for customer accounts.
• Create and distribute invoices promptly to clients.
• Process customer credit card payments efficiently.
• Prepare and manage bank deposits accurately.
• Keep detailed records of customer accounts and transactions.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to apply payments received to customer accounts in a timely manner.
• Reconcile customer balances based on aging reports and initiate actions for overdue invoices.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to accounts, payments, chargebacks, or returns.
• Engage in collections activities for overdue accounts and collaborate with finance leadership on escalation procedures.
• Generate monthly AR metrics and aging reports for senior management review.
• Assist in accounting for uncollectible accounts and reconcile reserve amounts related to revenue recognition.
• Take ownership of specific tasks during the month-end close process and account reconciliations.
• Develop and document best practices for Accounts Receivable operations.
• Provide audit support and reporting as needed.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of standard billing and collection practices in accounts receivable management.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills are essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work output.
• A self-motivated individual who can work independently while managing multiple deadlines effectively.
• A flexible team player with the initiative to manage projects from inception to completion with a strategic approach.
