Job Description :

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for the Accounting Department.

This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy in processing payments, and the ability to manage routine and complex tasks. Proficiency with a complex general ledger system is essential, along with strong organizational and research skills to handle extended projects and invoice follow-ups.

Highlights:

  • Ensuring/obtaining proper approval and classification of all payment requests, and follow-up with departments as necessary
  • Process employee out-of-pocket reimbursements
  • Accurate and timely data entry of approved payment requests into the accounts payable system for payment as scheduled
  • Monthly reconciliations of various general ledger accounts as assigned

Experience:

Preferred

  • Prior work experience with accounting / finance / accounts payable / lending

Education:

Required

  • Some accounting / finance classes

Preferred

  • Bachelors in Accounting / Finance / Business

Skills & Knowledge:

Required

  • Intermediate Skills in MS Office to include Access / Excel

Preferred

  • Advanced skills in all MS Office

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm

Level of Work: 1B
