Position Overview:

The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the accounts payable process. This individual will manage invoice processing, vendor communications, and payment cycles, while supporting internal financial controls and reporting. This role is ideal for someone with 3–5 years of accounts payable experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process high volume of invoices with accuracy and attention to detail
• Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
• Maintain vendor records and ensure timely payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Support month-end closing activities related to AP
• Assist with annual 1099 preparation and audit support
• Collaborate with procurement and other departments to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and company policies

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing or product-based environment
• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
• Team-oriented with a proactive mindset
