Synergy Search is partnering with a stable, employee-owned org looking to hire an Accounts Payable Manager. This is a visible role with direct interaction at high levels while shaping the future of the team.

Key Responsibilities

Department Oversight

• Manage a 6-person AP team
• Transition the role away from direct processing into oversight
• Streamline productivity reporting and weekly metrics

Accounts Payable Process

• Manage vendor credit applications, trade references, and discount programs
• Partner with PMs and senior PMs to resolve discrepencies

Systems & Compliance

• Maintain alignment with subcontractor-specific AP workflows

What We're Looking For

• Knowledge of subcontractor AP structures, 3-way match process, and vendor credit applications
• Strong leadership and trust-building skills to reshape a team
• Ability to create structure, drive accountability, and report on productivity

This is a full-time, in-office role based in Laurel, MD. Target salary is $85-100K base. Full health benefits. 401K.
