- Leading projects and tasks within the freight tower of Accounts Payable (AP).
- Acting as the Subject Matter Expert for the Freight Pay area.
- Leading Process Optimization and Break/Fix projects, working with IT, Purchasing, and others.
- Participate in freight initiatives to improve and enhance processes.
- Lead the new carrier onboarding process.
- Providing training and guidance on day-to-day operations of Freight Pay Acting as the AP representative in meetings, projects, and presentations with others outside of Accounts Payable.
- Leading training or other presentations with Cross Functional teams or outside parties (vendors).
- Maintaining SOX compliance.
- Project management skills.
- Working with cross functional teams across the Company.
- SAP & Legacy systems skills in Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and table queries.
- SQL queries.
- How to effectively deal with offshore resources to solve problems.
- How to effectively work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- How to work with third party (outsourced) processors.

- Gain an understanding of the company's blueprint; specifically, freight pay operations.
- Improve the ability to lead and manage finance and accounting responsibilities.
- Increase confidence in management presentation and financial data reporting.
- Bachelor's degree with focus in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of Finance or Accounting experience
- Good working knowledge of accounting principles and SOX controls
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft programs
