Accounts Payable Clerk - Illinois Tool Works : Job Details

Prepare daily cash receipts for processing ACH, Wire and Checks Process accounts receivable transactions Credit Memos, Debit Memos, Chargebacks, Research Deductions according to the Expenditure Authorization Policy. Work with the Customer Service department to resolve any discrepancies. Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. Review and release/hold orders entered that are on credit check. Perform account reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner (Bank Reconciliation, Intercompany activity, etc.)Manage collection efforts and associated functions - customer follow-ups, providing invoice copies, statements, etc. Month End Journal Entries as required. Provide support for internal and external audits. Continuous evaluation of current policies and recommendations for process improvements.
