Accounts Payable Clerk and Administrative Assistant
This is a full-time on-site role for a Real Estate Accounts Payable Specialist and Administrative Assistant. The role involves handling accounts payable tasks related to real estate operations and providing administrative support to the team on-site.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Handle daily bookkeeping tasks, including invoice entry, processing accounts payable, and managing ledger entries. Must maintain A/P processes, ensuring expense coding and descriptions.
- Accounts Payable: Process and pay invoices, ensure timely payment to vendors, and maintain accurate records of payments. Setting up new vendors in our MRI accounting software.
- Maintaining supporting documentation for capital expenses and ensure proper record-keeping. Completing ST-124's for vendors when applicable.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department, including filing, handling phone calls, scanning, and data entry, and managing the business credit card accounts.
- Liaise with building tenants and external vendors, to ensure seamless communication and transactions. Updating and Maintaining Tenant and Vendor Insurances and contact information.
- Property Utility Management
Qualifications:
- Real Estate, Real Estate Development, and Real Property skills
- Customer Service and Sales skills
- Experience in real estate accounting and administrative support
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of property management software is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Knowledge of MRI Real Estate Software is a plus
Compensation:
- $60,000 - $70,000 annually
